Primary school ”Jelena Ćetković” was established in 1961. It enrols 1021 students and employs 65 school staff. The school has participated in numerous projects and competitions, including „Promotion of humane values“ (Red Cross), „Eco garden – knowledge and power“ (MoE Serbia / World Bank), „School without Violence“ (UNICEF), „Prevention of the Delinquent Behaviour“, „Empowering Families“, „Multimedia in Teaching“. The school participated in TIMSS 2011 testing of 4th graders. The school cooperates with the following faculties: Faculty of Science, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Philosophy.
